Communicate with Hakirah

Mission Statement:

*The purpose of Hakirah, The Flatbush Journal of Jewish Law and Thought,* is to promote the intellectual and spiritual growth of the Jewish community.**
*To accomplish this Hakirah* will:**
	●	Provide an opportunity for members of our community who have been studying in depth to disseminate the results of their study for careful review.
	●	Encourage others to join in this type of study.
	●	*Create a forum for the discussion of issues of hashkafah* and halakhah relevant to the community from a perspective of careful analysis of the primary Torah sources.**
Members of the community are encouraged to comment on the articles that they have read and subsequent issues will allow considerable space for the reader’s comments and the author’s response.
